We now invite applications for the following resident site staff position for Contract No. GE/2022/02 - Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Programme, 2019, Package B, Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Works. This 27-month project, involving upgrading of twenty-eight substandard government man-made features in the New Territories and Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island, as well as implementation of hazard mitigation works for one study area at Repulse Bay Road, has been commenced in Q4 2022. Qualifications & Experience required:
  • Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong/Hong Kong Institute of Construction/Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/Technical Institute/Technical College/Polytechnic University/Polytechnic in Hong Kong or equivalent in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • Successfully completed a recognised technician apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • Successfully completed a recognised craft apprenticeship with 2 years experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline, OR
  • At least 5 years experience as a skilled worker in an appropriate discipline; AND
  • Attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Secondary 3 standard or above
Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing governments terms and conditions. For the usual duties of the position, please refer to RSS Management Handbook Appendix 7.4. Application deadline on or before 16 February 2025.
