Warehouse Manager (Pharmaceutical)

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal inventory levels.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations, including Good Distribution Practice (GDP), FDA guidelines, and internal policies.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, manage expiration dates, and minimize waste.
• Safety Management: Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment and minimize accidents.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on warehouse operations, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Transportation Coordination: Manage the scheduling and coordination of transportation for inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring timely delivery of products.
• Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize delivery routes to minimize costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Cost Management: Monitor logistics costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Logistics Reporting: Prepare reports on logistics performance metrics, including delivery times, costs, and inventory turnover.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse management, with at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance standards.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, APICS, CPM) is a plus.
• Experience with automated warehouse systems and technologies.
