Mechanical Lead / Installation Supervisor for Lime Kiln Installation in Brazil
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead with a strong background in installation of preheater, kiln, and cooler systems for a major project in Brazil .
The project will take place at an existing plant and is expected to last approximately 1.5 years , starting February 1st, 2026 .
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on installation experience in lime kiln, cement, or pulp & paper industries who is ready to take full site responsibility and lead the installation of key mechanical systems in close cooperation with the client and local teams.
About the Role
As the Installation Supervisor , you will lead all on-site mechanical installation activities, ensuring the project is executed safely, efficiently, and according to technical specifications.
You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with engineering and logistics teams, and act as the main technical interface towards the client.
Key tasks include:
- Planning and coordinating all installation work for preheater, kiln, and cooler systems
- Supervising contractors and ensuring work quality and alignment with project plans
- Handling daily progress, reporting, and documentation
- Conducting inspections, alignment checks, and troubleshooting during installation
- Leading safety briefings and ensuring compliance with all HSE standards
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with leadership skills and enjoys being close to the action on site.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Several years of experience in heavy mechanical installation – ideally within rotary kiln, lime, or cement systems
- Strong ability to lead teams, plan work, and communicate clearly with both clients and subcontractors
- Good understanding of combustion systems , refractory linings , and mechanical tolerances
- A proactive, safety-oriented mindset and hands-on approach
Languages & Practical Info
- English is required for technical communication and reporting.
- Portuguese are a strong advantage due to the location and local workforce.
- The position is site-based in Brazil for the duration of the project (approx. 1.5 years).
