Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Short-Term Project)

Project Duration:

This is a 2-day onsite job activity

Scope of Work:

The selected Engineer/Consultant/Technician will be responsible for the deployment and installation of Microsoft IoT sensors at the client site. The scope of work includes:

1. Provide an efficient workforce for the project.

2. Technician/Consultant/Engineer must wear PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, helmet, and earplugs, if required at the site. These will be provided by the End-Customer.

3. Follow local health and safety codes, adhering to any guidelines provided at the site.

4. Wear site-appropriate clothing that does not interfere with work, such as avoiding loose garments.

5. Complete local safety training or other mandatory requirements before starting work. 6. Bring the necessary tools to complete tasks.

7. Perform all work in the presence of the Client’s stakeholders.

8. Review the site readiness for deployment, including checking rack and cabling availability.

9. With local supervisor approval, take photographs of the rack and network setup before and after work, ensuring no unrelated areas are captured.

10.Unpack and review the technical specifications of the IoT sensor (form factor, power requirements) before installation.

11.Remove the existing nozomi sensor (server), disconnect all cables, and hand it over to the Client’s team.

12.Tag and label all installed hardware, power supplies, and wiring as instructed, using provided tags and labels.

13.Install new hardware for Microsoft IoT sensors, including rack mounting and connecting cables (power, network, earthing).

14.Record the MAC address and serial number of the new IoT sensor.

15.Verify all network configurations and network traffic. Confidential-Third Party 16.Complete and submit the asset information form, including details such as MAC address, serial number, model, and default credentials for all hardware.

17.Configure management IP to enable remote connectivity for Wipro’s team.

18.Participate in interface meetings with the Wipro/Kenvue team.

Who Can Apply:

• IT Support Engineers / Technicians / Consultants with hands-on experience in hardware installation, networking, and onsite client coordination.
• Must be able to carry necessary tools to perform the work.
• Should have strong knowledge of rack mounting, cabling, and IoT/network device installation.
